My daughter had great, unhurried experiences with FOUR (Mickey! Minnie! Pluto! Goofy!) that included pictures, selfies, hugs, autographs. Next, we hadn't realized there were characters walking around and interacting with guests. The buffet style also had a bonus of quickly getting your food, and if you're hungry, definitely getting your money's worth with additional plate trips. Firstly, the food is actually excellent for adults and plenty of choices for kids (we had our 11 year old daughter with us), including several dessert options. In the end, we were pleasantly surprised and won over in two major ways. I was told by the hostess it was a buffet and for our family of three would be just shy of $200 before a tip, but if it had been $300 for butter on box cardboard we still would have likely said yes in order to eat immediately.
We found this one with a walk up wait of 10 minutes and, starving, choose it on. This was NOT our first pick for a restaurant while visiting Hollywood Studios on a Wednesday, but that was my fault for not booking a restaurant in advance.
